Dairy Farming | Short Introduction



Dairy farming is a sector under agriculture that ensures continuous production and supply of milk that is processed for finally finishing it as a dairy product.

Most of the dairy farms consist of high producing dairy cows while few commercial dairy farms do involve the contribution from goats, camels, buffaloes and sheep.

The series of mechanical and chemical action taken to convert the  simple from of milk to the compound form of dairy products like cheese, curd, butter, yoghurt, etc. are done either on the farm or at a dairy plant.
